![]() This Early Adopter Bonus is available from SEGA approved retailers only please check in-store for physical retailers or here () for an exhaustive list of digital retailers and more details as to what constitutes a SEGA approved retailer. If you're having this issue and bought it elsewhere, did you check it was one of the SEGA approved retailers before buying? Because only some shops have the Norsca Early Adopter bonus, namely those on the list linked in the quote below, and maybe some physical shops but you really need to check with the shop first.Īnyone pre-ordering Total War: WARHAMMER II through a SEGA approved retailer before release, or buying in the first week on sale, will gain the Early Adopter Bonus of the free Norsca Race Pack DLC for the original Total War: WARHAMMER. If you're having this issue and bought it from Steam, then sounds like a Steam issue. ![]() but not every shop has it, nor was supposed to. Guess that's a better idea right? Something i would expect from other developers. It's pre-order and first week Early Incentive. ![]() They could aswell release W3 with it's basic races and make factions from previous games seperate DLCs(Empire DLC, Dwarfs DLC etc.) and "force" those owning previous games to buy them "again" in order to play them in the new game, justifiyng it as "new content" due some engine limitation. They also have to work for the older factions to work in the new game. Norsca became playable in Mortal Empires with the Resurgent Update (May 31, 2018). Unfortunately due to a serious technical issue, Norsca were not included in the Mortal Empires update. they prolong the viability of their content. The Mortal Empires update was an update for Total War: Warhammer II that made all the old TWW1 races compatible with the new game (if players owned both games). So basically like you said I would spent the money on W3 eventually but this way their company collects the money right now instead of eventually when W3 comes out. Originally posted by Fryskar:Tell me, what would be the difference, if instead of buying game 1 and its dlc, you'd have to buy the mortal empires map and all 1 factions in 2 as dlc (same price and locked behind owning ME ofc)? Huge difference, if CA didn't make W1 DLC unlock W2 factions I would never buy them and instead I'd just wait for W3 to come out but now that I know the 3 game's DLCs are connected, I just bought all DLCs from W1 which means CA is still generating revenues from W1 while not developing any new content for it. Tell me, what would be the difference, if instead of buying game 1 and its dlc, you'd have to buy the mortal empires map and all 1 factions in 2 as dlc (same price and locked behind owning ME ofc)? ![]() OMG this is actually a genius move to force us to buy all their "obsolete" dlcs so we don't just keep our money and wait for the lastest game, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ those corporations are getting too smart. In the New campaign menu there should be a "show unowned DLC content" option (exact wording might be off), which will show a bunch of locked lords, and tell you which DLC is needed to play as them. It's not obsolete if it's usable all the way to WH3.Īt least they're not selling the same Sims expansion for the next game but with less stuff. And when Warhammer 3 is released, all the Warhammer 1 and 2 DLC will also work for it, with owning Warhammer 1, 2, and 3 unlocking the new version of mortal empires soon after the release of 3. Owning Warhammer 1 unlocks Mortal empires for Warhammer2, Owning DLC for Warhammer 1 unlocks those lords/units for Warhammer 2. Originally posted by lethminite:Sorry, you said you had all other factions, so I assumed you had warriors of chaos and already knew that they worked for both games, or i would have explained it.īut yes, the 3 warhammer games are designed to be interconnected.
